"Faith in Self is the Starting Point of all Successful Achievement"

It was Orison Swett Marden who said, "A happy, contented, successful career must flow from a wellbalanced, symmetrical mind, which has a sense of absolute security and unquestioned faith in the Great Creator, the providing and sustaining power.
"We must be rooted in the truth of being, and feel an unwavering faith that we are a part of the great Mind which creates and governs all things. There is a sense of certainty, of absolute security, when we know that nothing can wrench us out of our orbit, that no accident on land or sea, no disease or discord, can separate us from our union with that great power. Once having this security, fear departs, uncertainty and anxiety leaves us, and all the faculties work in harmony. When we know that nothing can cheat us out of our birthright, that nothing can mar our real achievement, that every right step must lead to ultimate triumph, that every right act, that every germ of goodness, will ultimately struggle into flower and fruitage, we can serenely accomplish the highest that lies in our power.

"There is something in our very consciousness which tells us that we are not mere products of chance. We feel that there is a certainty somewhere; that fear, anxiety, and uncertainty are not a necessary part of life. There is an instinct within us which tells us that we are inseparable from the one great Mind, that we are one with it, a reflection of it, that we were created in its image, and that our ultimate purpose cannot conflict with its ultimate purpose. We instinctively feel that there must be a unity in all things, could we but find it, and the best way to find it is to trust this great power. Implicit faith will do more for us than reasoning, and will bring us infinitely closer to this unity."

Faith in self is the starting point of all successful achievement. When you know for sure that you can do it, you can get anything out of life that you want, providing only that you do not violate the rights of others. A complete, undying, firm faith in our Creator is the surest way to understand self.

Who am I? I am not a product of some electronics company that manufactures computers. I am not the product of chance. I am the divine creation of the Supreme Architect of the universe—the Omnipotence to which Jesus refers when he speaks of "the kingdom of Heaven is within us."

Who am I? Life will be more meaningful for us when we accept the fact that we can live in the at one-ment with our Creator—"in a partnership with God," as R. G. LeTorneau says and to which relationship he attributes his ability to make millions.

Dr. J. Herman Randall said: "If you really want to see results accomplished in yourself; if you are bent upon driving out fear and worry; if you want to cure the tendency towards discouragement and despair; if you truly desire to rid yourself of the besetting sin, or inherited weakness; if you want to make your home a paradise upon earth, and banish forever all the bitter and hateful and unkind thoughts; if you want to create about yourself such an atmosphere of kindliness, good cheer, and hopefulness, as will be an inspiration to others; if you aspire towards the constant unfolding of the spiritual consciousness within, bringing its vision of God, and its realization of the life eternal—then think these lofty ideals, and think them constantly, and think them in faith, believing they are yours, and you shall know the victory 'that overcometh the world.'

"God has placed at our disposal all this splendid equipment for physical, mental, moral, and spiritual symmetry and perfection, which we have only to appropriate and make our own forever."
